The Dot Vaeth Group formed in 1976 hailing from Haltom City close to Fort Worth ,Texas.. just a bunch of  High School friends making noise in their parents garage. Who would have ever known their 45 produced by Bryce Parker  & recorded in Pats old Trailer House would be one of the most sought after records of  punk rock collectors. When Pat Conley joined the band they had the old trailer house in Azle where they would rehearse. This is where I met these 'beautiful boys' ,as Bryce would say  AND I SOON HAD MY EYE ON A COVOCAL POSITION RIGHT NEXT TO JIM NABORS ..Dot Vaeth would later become Supermans Girlfriend with another band The Infants on the side. They did covers  of The Ramones & The Sex Pistols  amoung their own original songs..equally as good. So as you can see by these photos starting out as long hair rock and rollers they soon discovered a wonderful world they could fit perfectly into called PUNK ! Playing the local Dallas scene in 77 & 78 amoungst other pioneers  like         The Nervebreakers,Toys,                 The Obvious, & The Vomit  Pigs..We had the time of our lives !      Erin

When I met these guys I fancied Doug so we started going out together ..the first time he came to my house he showed up wearing an Army belt laced with all kinds of interesting little gadgets including his long hair he had cut off and a Rat trap ..hehe my moms eyes got real big ..and off we went !
